manny santos was s shy, ditzy girl in season one. she stayed in the shadows of her best friend, emma nelson. (played by Miriam McDonald) she had a few scenes, nothing major. but when season two rolled around, this shy girl started opening up. she became apart of the "spirit squad" showing us her execellent gymnast moves,  and she developed a humongo sized crush on the new boy, craig manning, (played by Jake Epstein), they even went out!!!also, in take my breath away (the episode where craig and manny do go out) we get to hear manny sing, and she has a fantastic voice.  a new image upheavel began during season three. manny got tired of being cute and went for hot, way hot. guys everywhere were stopping what they were doing to stare at her. even J.T (Ryan Cooley) started liking manny. and things got really hot and heavy when her and craig hooked up again, this time taking things to the max...

all in all, manny santos is a inocent girl who was tired of roaming in the shadows of her friend, and wanted to have some of the lime light on her. but wanting that had dire consquences.
